News: Petrol Girls Seek Contributors For New Video

Written by Daniel Rourke

Petrol Girls are looking for contributors to help with their new video. The video will accompany Touch Me Again, a track found on the band's debut album 'Talk Of Violence,' which was released last November.

Touch Me Again is centred around vocalist Ren Aldridge's personal experiences with consent, and the band are asking that anyone who has felt threatened about their right to decide what happens to their own body to contribute.

Contributions can include: dance routines, singalongs and banners, that centre around: "Expressing your right to your own body and responding to the song lyrics." The deadline for submissions has been moved to Monday 3rd April. More information can be found here and here.

As well as a new video, the band will be taking to the road again in April, supporting Strike Anywhere on their UK run. These dates include:

Friday 21st: Manchester Punk Festival
Saturday 22nd: Bristol - The Exchange
Sunday 23rd: London - The Underworld
Monday 24th: Exeter - Cavern
