Welcome to episode 12 of the Burn After Writing Podcast. This weeks episode is a little different, as we're taking you back to September 2018 for an interview we did with Patrick Kindlon of Drug Church.
Given the current COVID-19 pandemic that is sweeping the world it has been extremely difficult to record new episodes, so we decided to look back at some of the interviews we did that never saw the light of day for one reason or another.
This interview was recorded while Drug Church were in the UK supporting Boston Manor, and is well worth the listen several years on as we touch on the importance of Sick Of It All, how Patrick thinks his voice is bad, provoking an audience and much more.
As well as the discussion with Patrick, there's also a brief review of Brian Fallon's new solo record Local Honey, which is released 27th March via Lesser Known Records, and a extremely brief talk on the upcoming Violent Soho album Everything is A-OK.
Enjoy!
